Marion Abate
Freelance Artist, Sculptor, Lecturer, Speaker, Teacher
My current artistic work is based on combining traditional craftsmanship with modern technology. By using 3D printing – especially ceramic 3D printing – I connect handmade techniques with innovative tools. This opens up new possibilities for form, material properties, and artistic expression.
As a secondary school teacher, university lecturer, PhD student, speaker, and independent artist, I work across many creative fields. Supporting and inspiring the younger generation is especially important to me. I am passionate about exploring new ways to actively include modern technologies and fresh ideas in my teaching.

As one of the first experts in this field, I offer the course “Introduction to Ceramic 3D Printing.” It is aimed at educational institutions. In this course, I give an introduction to this innovative technique. And show how digital precision can be combined with the creative flexibility of clay. More information can be found under Workshops.
On my website, I give an overview of my work and areas of practice. Take a look at my artworks and discover my exhibitions.
I warmly welcome exchange and new contacts. I look forward to hearing from you or meeting you at one of my exhibitions or opening events.
