Since mid-2023, I have been working intensively with ceramic 3D printing. My sculptures are created in different ways: either I shape them traditionally from clay and then digitize them using a 3D scanner. Or I sculpt them digitally in a CAD program. Another method I use is digital sculpting in the studio with a virtual reality headset.

All digital designs are further processed on the computer and prepared for ceramic 3D printing using slicing software. I adjust various print parameters to achieve the best possible results. Before printing begins, the printer is filled with fresh clay. The printed clay sculpture is then refined and finalized by hand. Each piece is one of a kind.

A selection of my artistic works created using 3D printing can be found under Artistic Work. As one of the first experts in this field, I also offer training sessions and workshops. Whether for educational institutions or companies, whether the focus is artistic or technical – the creative use of this technology holds potential in many areas. In commercial contexts, design, functionality, and aesthetics must go hand in hand. More information about my training offers is available here.
