About Me
My name is Marion Abate. I am an artist from the Bavarian Forest, currently living and working in Regensburg, Germany. Since my studies, my artistic focus has been on sculpture, exploring both figurative and abstract forms of reality. Since 2023, I have been concentrating on 3D printing as a key element of my practice. By combining ceramic and polymer-based 3D printing, I create a dialogue between tradition and innovation.
Alongside my freelance artistic work, I am pursuing a PhD on ceramic 3D printing. Additionally, I am an art teacher at the Albrecht-Altdorfer-Gymnasium in Regensburg and a lecturer at the Institute of Fine Arts and Aesthetic Education at the University of Regensburg.
